U100 MESH CAP

Omron MicroAir U100 Mesh Cap. Replacement part for the NE-U100 nebuliser.

The Omron MicroAir U100 mesh cap holds a small metal plate containing 1,000 microscopic holes. Your nebuliser device vibrates that plate at a high frequency, pushing liquid medication through the holes to form the mist you breathe in.

Over time, medication residue gradually collects in the metal plate's holes, meaning mist output drops or stops altogether. Omron gives the cap an average lifespan of around 12 months, though how long yours lasts depends on how often you nebulise and what you are taking. Replacing the cap is a straightforward swap and no tools are needed.

Wash the cap after each inhalation with a mild washing-up liquid and water, then rinse it gently and leave it to air dry on a lint-free paper towel. Do not hold the cap under running water. The cap can also be disinfected by boiling in distilled water for 10 minutes.

Never touch the silver disc in the centre of the cap, as the holes are easily damaged and cannot be repaired.
