Bandages

A dressing bandage covers a wound, supports a sprained ankle or wrist, and helps an area heal after an accident or an operation. A conforming bandage moulds to a limb without slipping to suit everyday first aid. Crepe and tubular bandages work the same way, supporting a joint while a dressing sits underneath. A finger bandage or a tubular support sleeve works at a smaller scale, keeping a dressing in place on a finger or a joint. For skin conditions such as eczema, or for supporting circulation in the leg, a compression bandage applies pressure over time, and our zinc paste range is also built for that kind of care. To apply a bandage, start at the end away from the heart and wrap towards the body, keeping an even tension. The sterile bandages in our range carry a use by date like any wound care product, so if you have one that has been sat in the cupboard for a while, it's worth checking the pack to be safe.
