Now with the Dopplex ABility Automatic ABI system, Ankle Brachial Index testing has never been simpler or quicker. This mains-powered version is ideal for fixed clinical settings such as GP practices and primary care clinics, where consistent access to power ensures uninterrupted operation.

ABIs are calculated easily and accurately in as little as 3 minutes, without the need to rest the patient. Results are automatically calculated, interpreted, and displayed on the LCD screen with Pulse Volume Waveforms for enhanced clinical insight.

An integral thermal printer allows immediate printing of results on standard or adhesive label paper, supporting efficient documentation and streamlined workflows.

The Dopplex ABility is based on volume plethysmography technology, offering superior accuracy compared to oscillometric systems. It can detect:

• ABI values as low as 0.29 (Lewis, 2014)

Unlike many automated ABI devices, the system measures blood pressure in both arms using patented dual-chamber cuffs and uses the higher reading for ABI calculation. This ensures compliance with international clinical guidelines (NICE, ESC, TASC II, AHA) and improves diagnostic accuracy in detecting Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).
