The DA100PB Dopplex ABility is an advanced automatic ABI (Ankle Brachial Index) system designed to make vascular assessment simpler, faster, and more accessible than ever.

With the Dopplex ABility Automatic ABI system, Ankle Brachial Index testing has never been quicker or easier. Its portable design allows measurements to be performed efficiently in primary care clinics or even in a patient’s home, supporting earlier detection and more appropriate referrals into secondary care for patients with Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD).

ABIs are calculated easily and accurately in as little as 3 minutes, without the need to rest the patient. Results are automatically calculated, interpreted, and clearly displayed on the LCD screen alongside Pulse Volume Waveforms. For seamless documentation, results can be instantly printed via the integral thermal printer using standard or adhesive label paper.

The Dopplex ABility provides a cost-effective and clinically reliable solution, enhanced further by compatibility with optional DR4 software for data management and reporting.

Advanced Technology & Clinical Advantages

Based on volume plethysmography technology, the Dopplex ABility offers superior performance compared to traditional oscillometric systems. It is capable of detecting:

• Low ankle pressures down to 55 mmHg
• ABI values as low as 0.29 (Lewis, 2014)

Unlike many automated systems, the Dopplex ABility measures blood pressure in both arms using patented dual-chamber cuffs. It then uses the higher reading to calculate ABI—ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines from NICE, ESC, TASC II, and AHA.

This approach improves diagnostic accuracy and reduces the risk of misclassification in patients with PAD.
