Relistat wool is composed of soft, non-woven fibres shaped as ropes (Twisted Fibres). The Calcium Alginate Dressing is highly absorbent, and conforms to the shape of the wound. Once the dressing is inserted, it interacts with the wound to form a soft gel that maintains a moist healing environment and prevents the dressing from sticking. Removal is made much easier, and any clots of blood remain small, greatly reducing the risk of causing fresh bleeding.
